Hundy for Hope
"You must do the things
you think you cannot do."
-- Eleanor Roosevelt
When was the last time you did something you thought was impossible? It’s probably fair to say that we spend a significant portion of our lives doing things we would not consider impossible. Some things are done out of necessity like eating, sleeping, going to work. Some things may feel impossible, like putting up with siblings, surviving the daily commute, or waiting for the next season of fill-in-the-blank TV show to come out. But when was the last time you did something that really scared the bejesus out of you?
Every day, Outreach International works to achieve something that some would consider impossible: ending extreme poverty around the world. What an amazing effort to undertake!
On September 8th, I will attempt something that scares the bejesus out of me: a 100 mile endurance run through the Wasatch Mountains in Utah. And while this pales in comparison to the work of Outreach International, I would like to use the opportunity to help Outreach International with their ambitious and selfless mission.
Poverty is a problem we can solve. With your help, Outreach International can equip children and their families with sustainable solutions to persistent problems, ensuring they have an active role in their own prosperity.
Please join me on my journey to run 100 miles by supporting Outreach International on their journey to end extreme poverty around the world!
