Help My Fill My Bucket
Poverty is a problem we can solve. With your help, Outreach International can equip children and their families with sustainable solutions to persistent problems, ensuring they have an active role in their own prosperity.
My daughter, Kelly, and I are running in the LIMA 42K Marathon as a fundraiser for Outreach International. One of the items on my retirement "bucket list" is to run a marathon on every continent (well, except for Antartica!) before age 75. In partnering with Outreach International, Kelly and I are putting our passion for running and compassion for children in the same bucket! Follow our training and adventures on Facebook.com/Run4LifeRun4Love our at run4liferun4love.com.
Charles Neff, in 1986, challenged an auditorium full of 5000+ people to give just $.25 a day to help eradicate poverty. He captured the imagination of my then five-year-old son, Kyle, who said, "Daddy, if you will increase my allowance, we can do that!" Our family has been giving to Outreach and causes addressing the critical issues of poverty ever since.
If you’re unable to donate currently, sharing this page with your friends and family on Facebook and Twitter is a fantastic, simple way to help Kelly and me reach this fundraising goal.
Not on social media? No worries! You can reach out by sending an email with a link to this page to friends and family you think might be interested in supporting me. You were probably meaning to email them anyway, so now’s your chance!
Thank you again for your generosity. It means a lot to me, but a lot more to those we’ll help.
